One of NKY's finest all-around athletes is Villa Madonna's Brooke Meier, who earned 18 varsity letters in five different sports in her super prep career. Brooke has been honored by the Kentucky High School Athletic Association with the “Triple Threat Award” recognizing athletes who participate in high school athletics during the entire school year. Brooke has lettered in varsity softball, basketball, volleyball, soccer and track & field.

Brooke this season was honored as the state's student-athlete of the Year in softball by KHSAA, and in 2018 was the only NKY high school player who competed for a select national team in the 2018 Cup International Fastpitch Championships in Rotterdam, Netherlands. She has collected seven varsity letters in softball and ranks high in nearly every career stat list in the Commonwealth.

Her senior season for the NKAC Div. III champs, Brooke hit .602 (one of the top averages in Kentucky) with 43 RBI, 48 runs scored and 34 stolen bases. In the circle, she was 12-8 with 116 strikeouts in 116.2 innings pitched and a 2.49 ERA. Her numerous awards include recently being named NKAC Div. III Softball Player of the Year for the third time. She also has been named 1st team NKAC Div. III five times and named to the 34th District all-tournament team five times.

In basketball with five varsity letters, Brooke is a 1,000+ point career scorer and twice was named a NKY Coaches' Div. III all-star and a NKAC all-star. She played three years of soccer, earning 1st team all-conference honors. During her sophomore season, Brooke, a goalkeeper, led the defense to set school records for most consecutive shutouts (10) and single-season shutouts (12), placing 2nd in KHSAA record books.

In track & field, Brooke is a two-time NKAC Div. III champ in the TurboJav and holds the school record with a toss of 94-7. She was also a member of the 4x100 relay team that won the 2018 conference title in a meet record time of 57.90. She was also an all-conference player in volleyball.

An academic all-star who is active in community service, Brooke was a finalist for the Cincinnati.com I AM SPORT Award to honor high school student athletes committed to giving back to youth in their communities. Brooke will play softball at Mount St. Joseph University.

COACH'S QUOTE – "Brooke is a highly motivated student of the game with a great work ethic who has proven herself as a confident/passionate/charismatic leader on the playing field and in the classroom."
