 It is the 100th year of Wyoming high school football and all-star
                                                  senior Pierson Rogers is striving to help celebrate the occasion with
                                                  a Cowboys' third straight CHL title. Again this season the Cowboys are
                                                  ranked #1 in the Preseason 2018 TriStateFootball.com Ohio Division
                                                  IV-VII team rankings. The Cowboys have won more football games than
                                                  any high school team in Cincinnati history (approaching 700 wins.)
 
 A four-year varsity starter and two-year team captain at running back
                                                  and linebacker, Pierson enters this season, with a career 1,898
                                                  rushing yards, 490 receiving yards and 39 total TDs. On defense, he
                                                  has 218 career tackles, three interceptions, 9.5 sacks, and four
                                                  forced fumbles.
 
 He had a good start this season. In a 42-14 win vs. Columbus Academy,
                                                  Pierson ran for 98 yards and a TD on 13 first-half carries.
 
 Pierson is coming off an outstanding junior year in which he ran for
                                                  1,306 yards and 22 touchdowns while hauling in 23 receptions for 371
                                                  yards and six scores. He also recorded 56 total tackles, had a sack
                                                  and an interception and two forced fumbles for the Cowboys' defense.
                                                  He helped lead the Cowboys to the CHL title, going an undefeated 7-0
                                                  in league play and 12-1 over all. The Cowboys were regional
                                                  runners-up.
 
 Pierson's accomplishments were recognized with numerous awards. He was
                                                  named Cincinnati Div. IV Offensive Player of the Year (Enquirer),
                                                  Southwest Ohio Div. IV Offensive Player of the Year and Cininnati.com
                                                  Sports Awards' Small School Player of the Year. He was also 1st team
                                                  all-state.
 
 A multi-sport athlete, Pierson also played lacrosse his freshman year
                                                  and basketball his sophomore and junior years. He will compete in
                                                  football at the next level but has not yet selected a college.
 
 A good student, Pierson's favorite athlete and most-like-to-meet is
                                                  LeBron James, favorite entertainer is Post Malone and favorite movie
                                                  is Lone Survivor.
