Oak Hills High School's Presley Pennekamp in a record-holding
All-American soccer forward who enters her senior season after
crushing last year's junior campaign by scoring a school-record 46
goals with 10 assists for a school-record 102 points in leading the
Highlanders to a 15-2-4 overall record and a second straight GMC
championship. She led the GMC in goals (46) and points (102) while she
was tied for second in assists (10). One of the top players in Ohio,
she is Oak Hills' first-ever girls' soccer All-American.
For her excellent play on the pitch last season, Presley earned
numerous honors, including being named GMC Player of the Year,
Cincinnati Player of the Year (Enquirer), SWO District Player of the
Year, first-team all-state and USCA all-Great Lakes Region. She was
named Cincinnati Co-Player of the Year by the Enquirer's High School
All-Star Sports Awards. She was first-team all-Ohio as a sophomore.
This year, she was named Preseason all-Ohio by the USA Today Network
and has lived up to the billing -- after the first nine games, she is
second in the GMC in goals, and is first in the conference in assists
and points.
Presley holds numerous school records, including single-season points
scored, single-season goals, single-season assists, career goals and
career points. Active in community service, Presley also plays soccer
for the Ohio Elite Soccer Academy. She has committed to play soccer at
Xavier University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her
family and watching football games with them, and plans to become a
police officer in the future.
Her favorite athlete is Alex Morgan, favorite entertainers are Noah
Kahan & Zach Bryan, favorite book is The Outsiders, favorite movie is
10 Things I Hate About You and most-like-to-meet is Joe Burrow.
