One of Northern Kentucky's finest runners and one of the top runners in her school's history is Campbell County senior Olivia Holbrook, who competes in both cross country and track

In cross country, success began early for Olivia. As a seventh grader in 2019 she won both the conference and regional cross country championships and was named as the Enquirer's Northern Kentucky Cross Country Runner of the Year. Olivia has won two regional cross country championships and has two runner-up finishes. Twice she has finished seventh in the Kentucky state cross country championships. She has been named NKAC's Most Outstanding Cross Country Runner four times and five times has been named first-team all-region. She holds the school record for the fastest time in the 5K run (18:14). She started fast this season, winning the Notre Dame Panda Classic in 19:46.97.

In track, Olivia was the state runner-up in the 800 run at last year's Kentucky Class 3A state championships and was also a member of the state runner-up 4x800 relay team that finished in 9:30.83. At last year's Region 5 track & field championships, she was on the regional champion 4x800 relay team in 9:42.40, was regional champion in the 1600 run in 4:50.91 and was regional champion in the 800 run in 2:12.63.

Olivia has been a member of the 4x800 and 4x400 relay teams that have won a Kentucky state championship and a member of the team that won an overall state championship in track. In addition, last year she won a Class 3A state championship in the 800 run in indoor track, the first year indoor track was a Kentucky High School Association-sanctioned sport. A great student with a 4.36 weighted GPA, Olivia is active in community service and plans to run at the next level, but has not yet committed to a college. Her favorite athlete is Parker Valby, favorite entertainer is Jason Aldean, favorite book is The BFG, favorite movie is Fast and the Furious and most-like-to-meet is Joe Burrow.
