One of Cincinnati's most prolific scorers on the hardwood this past season was Mason High School senior Madison Parrish, a four-year starter who scored more than 1,000+ points in her great career. A McDonald's All-American finalist and this season's GMC Player of the Year, Madison will be taking her game to the next level at West Virginia University.
Madison led the GMC in scoring, averaging 17.2 points a game, was second in the GMC in steals with 2.6 per game, and fourth in assists with 3.0 per game. Her biggest games this season for the GMC champions included scoring 31 points vs. Lebanon, 26 points vs. Little Miami, 26 points vs. Lakota West, and 22 points each vs. Springboro, Princeton, and Lakota West. She was named first-team all-city Div. I by the Enquirer, first-team all-SWO District and second-team all-Ohio, and was selected to play in the Ohio-Kentucky All-Star Games. In addition, she is a finalist for the Cincinnati Sports Awards' Player of the Year.
A good student who is active in community service, Madison also plays for the Legends U club team. In her leisure time, she enjoys playing video games, painting, building Legos, and listening to music. Her favorite athlete is LeBron James, favorite entertainer is Sexyy Red, favorite book is The Crossover, favorite movie is The Princess and the Frog, and most-like-to-meet is A'ja Wilson.
