One of the ECC's best two-sport stars is Anderson High School senior Trace Jallick, who competed in basketball and football.
In basketball, Trace this season averaged 14 points per game with 4.3 assists per game (second in the ECC), plus 1.2 steals per game. Double-digit scoring games include hitting for 21 points each vs. both Mt. Healthy and West Clermont, 20 points vs. Walnut Hills and Goshen, and 19 points vs. Loveland. He was named second-team all-ECC and third-team all-SWO District 16 in Div. II.
In football this past season, Trace, a receiver, played a big part in helping Anderson to an Ohio state Div. II runner-up finish and a 15-1 overall record (9-0 in league play). He led the ECC in receiving yards with 1,932 yards and scored 20 receiving touchdowns. He was named first-team all-ECC, first-team all-city Div. II (Enquirer) and first-team all-state Div. II. He also was a finalist for the Cincinnati Sports Awards' Offensive Football Player of the Year and was selected for the Ohio North-South All-Star Game.
Trace holds several football school records and is the Raptors' all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns and has the fourth most single-season receiving yards in Ohio history.
A good student who is active in community service, Trace also competed in track for two years for the Raptors. He has committed to play football at the next level at Mercyhurst University.
His favorite athlete is Lamar Jackson, favorite book is Percy Jackson, favorite movie is 2Fast 2Furious and most-like-to-meet is Drake.
