Newport Central Catholic senior guard Caroline Eaglin is one of the best basketball players in Northern Kentucky, and she is the all-time leading scorer in school history with 2,546 points. This is the third season in a row that she has been the leading scorer in Northern Kentucky. She was named this year’s 9th Region Player of the Year and Northern Kentucky Div. II Co-Player of the Year while the 'Breds finished as district runners-up.

Caroline was the 9th Region's leading scorer last season with a 21.9 average and was a Top 20 scorer in the state. She also was the leading scorer in the 9th Region the previous season, averaging 24.8 as a sophomore.

In addition to averaging 21.9 points a game last season, she shot 45% from the field and led the NewCath team in rebounds with a 7.4 average.

For her efforts, last season she was named first-team all-Northern Kentucky by the Enquirer and first-team all-9th Region as well as named to the regional all-tournament team of the All-A Classic Tournament. She was also named to the Kentucky team for the Kentucky-Indiana Junior All-Star game. In addition, she has competed in volleyball and track & field for the Thoroughbreds.

A National Honor Society student who is active in community service, Caroline will take her game to the next level on scholarship to Northern Kentucky University. Her favorite athlete is Paige Bueckers, favorite entertainer is Morgan Wallen, favorite book is Salt to the Sun, favorite movie is Home Alone and most-like-to-meet is Luke Combs. Her club basketball team is the Next Level Academy.
