Pitching in this season to help the Purcell Marian Cavaliers in their drive for a third straight Ohio state championship is senior Seini Henry, a transfer from West Clermont High School.

Last season, as a junior at West Clermont, Seini had 11 double-double games. She averaged a double-double for the season -- 13 points-10 rebounds a game for the Wolves to go along with two assists per game and 1.4 blocks per game. Her top games were 21 points-10 rebounds vs. Milford, 20 points-18 rebounds vs. Seton and 19 points-15 rebounds vs. Little Miami. She set a school record for most blocks and rebounds in a season and helped lead the Wolves to its first ECC championship in school history, going an undefeated 16-0 during the regular season, 24-1 over all. The Wolves lost in the district finals.

She earned numerous honors, including being named first-team all-ECC, first-team all-city (Enquirer), first team all-Southwest Ohio and second-team all-Ohio. She also was a finalist for Cincinnati Basketball Player of the Year by the Cincinnati High School Sports Awards.

She has had numerous double-digit scoring games this season, including vs. CHCA (15 points), Norwood (14 points) and Beavercreek (12 points).

During her freshman and sophomore years, Seini played for a high school team in Charlotte, North Carolina, that won back-to-back state championships and also was a member of the school's 2021 volleyball team that was state runners-up.

A National Honor Society student who is active in community service, Seini also plays for the Legends U. AAU club team. She will continue her play collegiately next season at The Ohio State University.

Her favorite athletes are Aja Wilson and Didi Richards, favorite entertainers are Kai Cenat and Veeze, favorite book is Diary of a Wimpy Kid, favorite movie is Johnny Lingo and most-like-to-meet is Adele.
