McMullan, who has already won five Ohio state championships and is a
16-time NISCA swimming All-American.
Thackston's successful career has seen him win individual state titles
twice in the 500 freestyle and once in the 200 freestyle; plus, he has
earned one state title as a member of the Bombers' state-winning 200
freestyle relay team and one as a member of a champion 400 freestyle

state championship that year, in the 500 freestyle.
Also a member of the Cincinnati Marlins club team, Thackston was
invited to the USA Swimming National Select Camp for the top fifty
swimmers in the U17 age category.
A Scholastic All-American who is active in community service, he will
swim collegiately at the University of California-Berkeley. His
favorite athlete is Ryan Murphy, favorite entertainer is Joe Gatto,
