Undefeated Badin has an all-star football player in senior Braedyn
Moore. He plays both wide receiver and defensive back for the 7-0 Rams,
who were 14-1 last season and were regional champions and Ohio state
Div. III runners-up. Braedyn is striving to help the Rams capture its
fifth straight GCL-Co-Ed title and make a deep run in the state
playoffs.
At 6' 2" and 190 pounds, Braedyn is coming off a junior campaign when he
had a league-leading 61 receptions for 655 yards (third in the league)
and four touchdowns. Defensively, he had 54 tackles (41 solo) and seven
interceptions, including two pick-six touchdown returns. He also had a
punt return for a touchdown.
Braedyn earned numerous honors. He was a Division III second-team
all-Ohio selection and was also named first-team all-city Div. III
(Enquirer), first-team all-district and first-team all-GCL Co-Ed.
Braedyn has had a good start to this season, too. In the first seven
games this season, he has 538 yards receiving and eight touchdowns, plus
70 yards rushing and a touchdown. He also had 17 tackles and an
interception on defense. He scored two touchdowns (one rushing, one
receiving) in the season-opening win vs. Cleveland Villa Angela-St.
Joseph, and also had an interception in the game. In a 27-14 win over
Columbus St. Francis DeSales, he had eight receptions for 108 yards and
a touchdown, and in a 23-0 win vs. Ross, he caught six passes, scoring
two touchdowns.
Braedyn had numerous college offers and has committed to stay home and
play for the UC Bearcats.
A good student active in community service, Braedyn's favorite athlete
and most-like-to-meet is Jalen Ramsey, favorite entertainer is Kevin
Hart, favorite book is Educated, and favorite movie is The Blindside.
