West Clermont High School senior basketball star Anna Swisshelm scored
1,500+ points and pulled down 500+ rebounds in her great career. She led
her Wolves team this past season to the ECC championship for the first
time in school history, going an undefeated 16-0 in league play, 24-1
overall as sectional runners-up. She was second in the ECC in scoring,
averaging 15 points per game and was fourth in field goal percentage
(52.1%). She also averaged 4.6 rebounds per game. Big scoring games
included those against Walnut Hills (27 points), Turpin (25 points) and
Anderson (21 points)
So far this year, she has been named ECC Offensive Player of the Year,
first-team all-SWO District, first-team all-Ohio Div. I and she was
selected to play in the Ohio-Kentucky all-star game
Anna averaged 14.9 points (fourth in the league) and 5.3 rebounds a game
as a junior. She shot 43% from the field and a school-record 88% from
the free throw stripe. She was named first-team all-ECC, honorable
mention all-city, and second-team all-district.
Anna also played two years of varsity volleyball, and will continue her
basketball play at the next level at Cedarville University. She also
plays club basketball for the Cincy Swish Bluestar team.
A super student (National Honor Society) who is active in community
service, her favorite athlete is Kevin Durant, favorite entertainer is
Taylor Swift, favorite book is The One Safe Place, favorite movie is The
Grownups and most-like-to-meet is Michael Jordan.
