Senior Lucas Moore is an all-star centerfielder for the Badin Rams'
baseball team.
Last season, as a junior, Lucas hit .352 with 20 RBI, 39 runs scored and
27 stolen bases. For the second time, he was named first-team GCL Co-Ed,
first-team all-city and first-team all-state in Div. II. He helped lead
Badin to a 26-7 record, a fifth straight Greater Catholic League-Coed
title and a second straight trip to the state Final Four.
Lucas holds several school records for Badin, including most hits in a
season (54), most runs scored in a season (48), and most stolen bases in
a season (51).
A good student who is active in community service, Lucas, who played a
year of football for the Rams, plays baseball for the Indiana Bulls
summer team and will play collegiately next season at the University of
Louisville.
His favorite athlete is Enrique Bradfield, favorite entertainer and
most-like-to-meet is BabyTron, favorite book is The Energy Bus, and
favorite movie is Shutter Island.
