Lakota West basketball all-star guard Nate Dudukovich is entering his
senior season on the hardwood, having played three years on the varsity
level, and has already scored 1,000+ points in his great career. When he
scored 31 points this season in a game against Oak Hills, he became the
all-time leading scorer in Lakota West history with 1,214 career points.
In the early stages of this season, he is leading the GMC in scoring,
averaging 23.4 points a game. He scored 32 points vs. Hamilton, 24
points vs. Brownsburg, IN and 23 points vs. both Fairfield and Sycamore.
Nate helped lead last year's Firebird team to a 14-11 record and a
runner-up finish in the district tournament. He filled the stat sheet
last year, averaging a school-record 25.3 points a game (leading the
GMC) as well as 3.6 rebounds per game. He shot 50.4% from the field and
72.6% from the free-throw line. His 531 total points scored in a season
is also a school record.
Big games included scoring a single-game school record 51 points against
North Raleigh Christian, NC, 36 points vs. Western Hills and 35 points
vs. Lakota East in a sectional finals' win. Nate's hard work was
recognized with numerous honors last season. He was named first-team
all-GMC for the second time, first-team all-city (Enquirer), first-team
all-Southwest Ohio District for the second time and second-team
all-state.
A good student who is active in community service, Nate will play
basketball at the next level but has not yet selected a college. He also
plays for the Midwest Basketball Club team. Nate is from a gifted
athletic family, including older sister Kailyn, who was an all-star in
basketball at Lakota West as well as Ohio Gatorade Soccer Player of the
Year and LaRosa's Female Athlete of the Year in 2020-2021, when she led
the Firebirds to the Ohio state championship.
His favorite athlete and most-like-to-meet is Kobe Bryant, favorite
entertainer is Kevin Hart, favorite book is Mamba Mentality and favorite
movie is Top Gun.
