Ursuline Academy senior Lindsey Green will be playing her collegiate volleyball at Ball State University next season, but for this season she was a vital volleyball all-star for the Lions, who were GGCL champs, regional champs and Ohio state Div. I champions, beating defending state champs Rocky River Magnificat in the state title game and finishing the season with a 25-3 record. Lindsey had 48 assists and seven digs in the state championship match. It was the school's eighth state volleyball title.

A setter, Lindsey, a preseason AVCA All-American, filled the stat sheet this past season for the state champs. In 99 games, she had 995 assists (leading the GGCL), 253 digs, 78 kills and 10 service aces. She was named first-team all-state in Division I this season for the second straight year by the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association.

This comes on the heels of a great junior campaign when she tallied 1,001 assists (tops in the GGCL and Ohio), 92 kills, 279 digs, 82 blocks (second in the GGCL) and 34 service aces. She earned numerous honors, including being named first-team GGCL, first-team all-city (Enquirer), first-team SWO District and first-team all-state. She helped the Lions go 20-7 and reach the regional semifinals last year.

Her favorite athlete is Lauren Carlini, favorite entertainer is Kevin Hart, favorite book is Life's Too Short, favorite movie is Avengers and most-like-to-meet is LeBron James.
