One of Northern Kentucky's best multi-talented student-athletes is Notre
Dame Academy senior Macie Feldman, an all-star in soccer and basketball,
and in the classroom, too.
In soccer, an attacking midfielder/forward for the state's top-ranked
team, Macie her junior year for the 9th Region champs scored 12 goals
with nine assists for 33 points. She was named first team all-9th region
for the third time, MVP of the 35th District Tournament and second team
all-state. Her sophomore year, she led the Pandas with 15 goals. She
also competes for the Cincinnati Development Academy.
In basketball for the 21-5 defending 35th District champs, Macie has
been a varsity starter since her freshman year and a team captain since
her sophomore year. The point guard her junior year averaged 11.1 points
a game, 4.2 rebounds per game, three assists per game and three steals
per game. Her top three games included scoring 23 points vs. Ursuline
academy, 17 points vs. Mercy McAuley and 16 points vs. Grant County. She
was named to the 9th Region all-tournament team for the second time, to
the 35th District all-tournament team for the third time, and was first
team all-NKAC Div. I for the second time. She holds the school record
for most steals in a game (9).
Macie also plays basketball for the Kentucky Premier EYBL club team and
she plans to play basketball at the next level but has not yet selected
a college. Active in community service, Macie is a great student, a
National Honor Society and Math National Honor Society member with a
4.42 GPA and ranked first in her class the past two years.
Her favorite athlete is Devin Booker, favorite entertainers are Kenny
Chesney and Eric Church, favorite book is the Divergent series, favorite
movie is the Jason Bourne series and most-like-to-meet is Geno Auriemma.
