Moeller's Josh Kattus is an all-star tight end for the Crusaders with
authentic football bloodlines and the recipient of two dozen collegiate
offers. Dad Eric was an all-star tight end for Colerain, University of
Michigan and the Cincinnati Bengals. Josh has committed to continue his
education and football next year at the University of Kentucky.
In the first seven games this season, Josh has 20 receptions for 307
receiving yards for a Crusader's squad that earned a 5-2 record to start
the season.
Josh is coming off a junior year for the Crusaders when he had 29
receptions for 356 yards and 15 touchdowns, including big TD catches in
games vs. St. Xavier (53 receiving yards), La Salle (50 receiving yards)
and Highlands (68 receiving yards).
He earned numerous honors last season, including being named first team
GCL south, first team all-city, first team SWO district and first team
all-Ohio. He was named GCL Tight End of the Year.
Josh is active in community service and is a great student on the
academic honor roll each quarter for the past three years. His favorite
athlete is Tom Brady, favorite entertainer is Bruno Mars, favorite book
is The lightning Thief, favorite movie is The Dark Night and
most-like-to-meet is LeBron James.
