Cincinnati Country Day senior Sabrina DelBello is a multi-sport all-star
who has played varsity basketball, lacrosse, soccer and tennis for her
school.
In basketball, Sabrina, a four-year varsity player, has scored 1,000+
points in her great career. This past season, Sabrina, a guard, averaged
12.2 points per game and helped lead the team to an MVC Scarlet
championship, regional championship, and an Ohio state runner-up finish.
The team went an undefeated 8-0 in league play, 16-2 over all.
She had numerous double-digit scoring games this past season, putting up
26 points vs. Fayetteville Perry, 18 points vs. Summit Country Day, 17
points vs. Norwood, and 16 points vs. Taft. She was named first team MVC
Scarlet for the third straight year, second team all-SWO District and
honorable mention all-Ohio Div. IV. She averaged 15.5 points per game
her junior year and was first team all-city and honorable mention
all-state.
This past fall in soccer, Sabrina helped her team to a 17-1-4 record,
winning the MVC Scarlet championship, regional championship and made it
all the way to the Ohio state championship game, which was a 3-2 loss in
overtime. She had three goals and three assists on the season in five
games played.
A super academic student who is involved in community service, Sabrina
earned high honors each year of high school and can speak fluently in
French and Spanish as well as speak some Arabic and Hebrew. Her club
basketball team is the Kentucky Storm Elite and she will play basketball
collegiately at Washington University in St. Louis.
Her favorite athlete is Stephen Curry, favorite entertainer is Morgan
Wallen, favorite book is A Brief History of Time by Stephen Hawking and
most-like-to-meet is Harrison Ford.
