St. Xavier senior Hank Thomas is a two-sport all-star in baseball and
basketball.
In baseball, playing outfield, first base and third base, he was the #1
ranked player in Ohio by Perfect Game in 2018-2019. Last season for the
GCL-South Co-champions, Hank hit .299 with 23 hits, 23 runs scored, 14
RBI and 10 stolen bases. He plays for the Cincinnati Spikes during the
summer.
In basketball, his senior year, Hank averaged 15.2 points per game,
which led the GCL-South, plus pulled down 6.8 rebounds per game, which
was second in the conference. His numerous honors included being named
1st team all-GCL-South, 1st team all-city (Enquirer), 1st team SWO
District and third team all-Ohio. He was also named GCL Co-Defensive
Player of the Year. Top scoring games included those vs. Elder (31
points), West Clermont (24 points) and Fenwick (23 points).
A tremendous student with a 4.0 GPA and a member of National Honor
Society, Hank is active in community service and he will play baseball
collegiately at Georgia Tech University.
His favorite athlete is Mike Trout, favorite entertainer is Chris
D'elia, favorite book is The Westing Game, favorite movie is Ocean's
Eleven and most-like-to-meet is Charles Barkley.
