Ross senior Alex Coleman, a wrestling All-American, is a four-year varsity wrestler and the defending Ohio Div. II state champion in the 285 lb. class. His state title last year made him the first-ever state wrestling champion in school history.

Entering his senior season, Alex already has 108 career wins. Last season, he went 49-3 with a school-record 41 pins. He earned numerous honors, including being named Cincinnati Div. II Wrestler of the Year (Enquirer), 1st team all-SWOC for the second time, 1st team all-city, 1st team all-SWO District, 1st team all-Ohio and was a finalist for Cincinnati.com's Sports Awards' Wrestler of the Year.

Alex also had a busy and successful off-season. Last May, he won the 2019 Junior Freestyle state title and the Junior Greco-Roman state title in Marysville, Ohio. In June, he competed for Ohio at the national duals in Tulsa Oklahoma and earned All-American honors. In October, he won the 2019 Grappler Fall Classic in the Elite 285 weight class at Michigan State University.

A National Honor Society student who is active in community service, Alex also played two years of football for the Rams. He will continue his wrestling at the United States Air Force Academy.

His favorite entertainer and most-like-to-meet is The Rock, favorite athlete is Adam Coon, favorite movie is Ready Player One and favorite book is Alex Rider.
