Seven Hills' senior Lucy Callard is a four-year varsity swimmer and in
her career has won an impressive 11 MVC titles in individual and relay
events, plus she holds seven school swimming records.
Lucy is a three-time Southwest Ohio District and two-time Ohio Div. II
state swimming champion in the 500 freestyle. Her sophomore year, she
won the state title in 4:51.31 and again took the title her junior year
in 4:54.13.
She has won numerous honors, including being named the MVC Swimmer of
the Year the past two seasons and has been first team all-conference
three times and first team all-city twice.
Lucy also plays softball for the Lady Stingers and last season hit .593
with 34 RBI and 30 runs scored on the way to being named 1st team
all-MVC for the third time. She also played tennis for the Lady Stingers
this past fall.
A great student who is involved in community service, Lucy will swim
collegiately at Duke University.
Her favorite athlete and most-like-to-meet is Katie Ledecky, favorite
entertainer is Kate McKinnon, favorite book is Forward by Abby Wambach
and favorite movie is Bridesmaids.
