ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A 2-sport all-star, senior Conner Hempel is a 2011 Rawlings
pre-season all-region baseball competitor and the reigning NKY regular
season batting champ, last season hitting a school-record .509 with 31 RBIs.
He earned many honors, including being named 1st team all conference, 1st
team all-NKY (Enquirer), 1st team all-region and honorable mention
all-state. In football, the QB for the regional champs passed for 1,294 yds.
(9 TDs) and rushed for 1,002 yds. (11 TDs). He also averaged 38 yds. per
punt. In his remarkable career, Conner accounted for 6,139 yds. and 60 TDs.
He was named 1st team all-NKY and honorable mention all-state. Conner was
also one of 8 senior QBs nationally selected as a cast member of
MTV2’s “THE RIDE,” a national cable reality show about
competition for a final roster spot for the US Army All-American Bowl in San
Antonio. A National Honor Society student, Conner will continue his football
career next season at Harvard University.
