ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Moeller senior Alex Barlow is a 2-sport star in baseball &
basketball. His junior year in baseball, Alex hit a league-leading .532 (32
RBIs, 34 runs scored) for the 29-2 GCL champs, sectional champs, district
champs and state semi-finalist. At one point, he helped the Crusaders
produce a school-record 27 straight victories. Alex earned numerous honors,
including 1st team GCL, 1st team all-city and 2nd team all-state. Also a
basketball star, Alex averaged 9 ppg. for a 22-3 Crusaders team that was GCL
co-champs, sectional champs, district champs and regional runners-up. Top
games included scoring 21 vs. Northmont, 16 vs. Elder and 14 vs. St. Xavier.
He was named 1st team GCL South, 2nd team SWO district and honorable mention
All-Ohio. He was also named GCL Defensive Player of the Year and 1st team
all-city as a junior. An honors student active in community service,
Alex’s favorite athlete is Tyler Hansbrough and most-like-to-meet is
LeBron James.
