ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Elder senior All-American wrestler Ian Korb had a great prep career for
the Elder Panthers, dominating the local wrestling scene. This year,
Ian was the Ohio Div. I state runner-up in the 171 weight class. Ranked 9th
in the nation in his weight class by W.I.N. Magazine, and having 100+ career
high school victories, Ian went 38-1 this season. This follows a junior year
during which he was 39-3, finishing 3rd at state while being named 1st team
all-GCL South and 1st team all-city. In his career, Ian captured two GCL
championships, three sectional championships and three district titles. He
has been GCL South Wrestler of the Year two straight years. Ian was also on
the Panthers football team for 1 year. A super 4.0 student (two-time
All-Ohio Academic Team), Ian is a National Honor Society member and active
in community service. Ian will wrestle next season at the University of
Pennsylvania.
