ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Celia is a swimming All-American and a 2-time Ohio Div. II state
champion, winning the 100 backstroke both her sophomore and junior years.
During this season’s district championships, Celia helped her team set
a district record 1:39.38 in the 200 medley relay. She also was district
champ in the 100 backstroke, as the Wyoming swim team finished the season as
league champions, sectional champions and district runners-up. Celia has set
numerous records in her great career, and twice has been named the
Enquirer’s Div. II Swimmer of the Year and 3 times named 1st team
all-city. Also an academic superstar (4.36 weighted GPA), Celia is a member
of National Honor Society and is active in community service. She swims for
the Wyoming SeaDragons in the summer, and has not yet selected a college.
Her favorite entertainer is Sufjan Stevens, favorite book is The Diving Bell
and the Butterfly, and most-like-to-meet is John Green.
