ACCOMPLISHMENTS: A high school swimming All-American, Beechwood senior
Michael Miller, 2011 regional and Kentucky state champ in the 100 butterfly,
has been a varsity swimmer since the 7th grade. He also holds 2 Kentucky
state championships in relay events (200 medley relay, 400 freestyle relay)
both earned last season when he was a junior. He finished as Kentucky state
runner-up in the 100 butterfly his sophomore and junior seasons, and he is
the school record-holder in that event. Michael last season was named 1st
team NKY (Enquirer) and 1st team all-state (for the 2nd time). He has been
an academic honor roll student all 4 years of high school and is active in
community service. Michael will swim next season at the University of
Kentucky. His favorite athlete is Nathan Adrian, favorite entertainer is
Robert Downey, Jr., favorite book is A Song of Ice and Fire, favorite movie
is Inception and his most-like-to-meet is Adam Sandler.
