ACCOMPLISHMENTS : Indian Hill senior Kelsey Matthews excels in basketball and tennis. In basketball, averaging about 14 ppg., she helped the team claim its 3rd straight CHL title. Top games included scoring 20 vs. Deer Park and Finneytown and 18 vs. West Holmes and Madeira. Her junior year Kelsey helped the team to the school’s first district title and earned numerous honors, including being named 1st team all-CHL, 1st team all-city, 2nd team SWO district and honorable mention all-state. In tennis this past season, Kelsey went 13-3 at first singles and was an Ohio state quarterfinalist; she was named CHL Player of the Year for the 2nd time, Cincinnati Div. II Player of the Year (GCTCA), 1st team all-city, and 2nd team all-state.  A 4-year scholar athlete who enjoys playing piano, Kelsey will take her tennis game next season to the University of Indianapolis. Her favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant, favorite entertainer is Dave Matthews and most-like-to-meet is Brad Pitt.
