ACCOMPLISHMENTS: A senior 3-year varsity starter, guard Ryan Fleming (son of coach Dan Fleming) is one of the leaders of the potent Lancer team that is the defending GCL South, sectional and district champs. Last season, Ryan averaged 10.6 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.5 steals, for the 22-3 Lancers. His honors included being named 1st team GCL, 1st team all-city (Enquirer) and 3rd team all-Southwest Ohio district. Double-digit scoring this season includes 14 points vs. Leesburg, 12 points vs. Winton Woods and 10 points vs. McNicholas and Dwyer. During the summer, Ryan plays for the Cincinnati Royals. Also an academic honors student who is active in community service, his favorite athlete is Chris Paul, favorite entertainer is Will Ferrell, favorite movie is Remember the Titans and most-like-to meet is Kobe Bryant. Ryan will attend Northern Kentucky University next year, where he will continue a family tradition -- both his mom and dad played basketball at Northern Kentucky University.
