ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Lancers’ senior Brandon Neel is the reigning GCL South Player of the
Year (the first junior to be awarded the title since Elder's Kyle Rudolph in
2007.) Brandon last year led the GCL South in scoring (15 ppg.), helping his
team to a 22-3 record and the league and district titles. He was also 4th in
assists (2.8 apg.) and captured 5 rebounds per game. His honors included
being named 1st team all-city (Enquirer), 1st team all-SWO district and 3rd
team all-Ohio. He’s putting up nice numbers this year, too: 21 vs.
Fairfield, 20 vs. Lakota West, 15 vs. Fenwick. Active in community service,
Brandon is a member of All Ohio Red during the summer, and will continue at
the next level but has not yet selected a college. His favorite athlete is
LeBron James, favorite entertainer is Jay-Z, favorite book is Killing Mr.
Griffin, favorite movie is More Than a Game and most-like-to-meet is Michael
Jordan.
