ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Mason running phenom Zach Wills, twice named Ohio Gatorade cross country
Runner of the Year, has already made his mark on the high school running
world. Zach has notched 4 Ohio state championships in cross country and
track. In cross country, Zach was the state championship in his sophomore
and junior seasons, and in track earned the Ohio state title in the 3,200
run as a freshman and sophomore. His freshman state title made Ohio history
as he was likely the only freshman ever to achieve the state title in the
3,200. A LaRosa’s MVP of the Year finalist last year, Zach competed in
the World Youth Track & Field Championships in Italy, finishing 9th in
the world in the 3,000 meter run, and his 8:18.24 time set a USA sophomore
record. His senior year ahead of him, Zach already has been named to the
Ohio Cross Country All-Decade Team. Zach is a good student active in
community service.
