He has earned numerous honors, including last season NKY Tennis Player of the Year and 1st team all-state for the third time. A noteworthy occurrence happened his freshman year when both Jimmy and his sister Emily (Notre Dame Academy) were 9th region singles champs, only the 3rd time in Kentucky history when brother and sister were regional champs at the same time. A super student (National Merit Finalist) active in community service, Jimmy will play tennis next season at Xavier University. His favorite athlete is Kim Clijsters and most-like-to-meet is John Wall.

COACH’S QUOTE – “Jimmy is a hard-working student. His success in the classroom carries over in everything he does. He is a friendly young man who helps the rest of the team improve at each practice, and he cheers on his teammates in our matches.”—Al Hertsenberg, Tennis Coach.
