ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A super all-around student-athlete, St. Henry senior Ben Bessler is the
reigning regional and Kentucky Class A high jump champion, an event he
conquered both his sophomore and junior years. Also an all-star cross
country runner, Ben was part of 3 straight Kentucky state Class A cross
country championships. In basketball, Ben (averaging 12 ppg. this season)
was named 1st team NKY Div. II and district tournament MVP. He also helped
his team to the district championship as a junior when he averaged 8 ppg.-14
rpg. Meanwhile, he additionally plays club volleyball for St. Henry, a sport
he has bloodlines for as his mom played the sport collegiately at Miami
University. Ben is an academic all-state student (honor roll all 4 years)
and is active in community service. His favorite athlete is Steve Nash,
favorite entertainer is Adam Sandler, and his most-like-to meet is Dave
Matthews. He will attend the Air Force Academy.
