ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
An All-American track star, Ashley and her running mates won 2 Ohio
State championships (800 relay & 1,600 relay) in 2008, setting city
records in each event. She was also the 2009 Ohio state runner-up in the 400
dash. At the 2007 Nike Outdoor National Championships she and her 1,600
relay teammates ran a 3:37.87, the fastest time in Cincinnati girls’
history. Ashley holds numerous school, conference, city, district and state
track records and has received many honors, including being named 1st team
all-city 3 times and, along with her running mates, was named a 2008 Track
Sportswoman of the Year by the local Women’s Sports Association. Also
an all-star soccer player, Ashley has won several honors, including Team
MVP, 1st team all-conference and 1st team all-city. A CPS scholar-athlete
active in community service, Ashley’s favorite athletes are Jeremy
Wariner and LeBron James, favorite entertainers are Lil Wayne, Drake and
Beyonce, and most-like-to-meet is President Barack Obama.
