ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A McDonalds All-American nominee, Courtney Sandfoss, a 4-year starter,
led her team to its 4th straight Regional All “A” Classic
championship and was named to the all-tournament team. She then helped the
‘Breds capture the Kentucky state championship in the All
“A” Classic, the first-ever girls’ title in school
history. She was named MVP of the state tournament. Courtney is a career
1,000+ point scorer (her father Tony was also a 1,000+ point scorer when he
played at Newport Catholic), and she has earned numerous honors, including
her junior year when she was named to the regional and district
all-tournament teams, was MVP of the 9th region All “A” Classic,
and was NKAC Player of the Year. Also a super softball player, Courtney,
active in community service, is an academic all-state star, too, and
a member of National Honor Society. Her favorite athlete is LeBron James,
favorite entertainer is Adam Sandler and most-like-to-meet is Brad Pitt.
