ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A 15-time swimming All-American, Danielle took the 2008 Ohio Div. I
state championship in the 200 freestyle and was state runner-up in the 100
freestyle. Last year as a junior, Danielle was sectional champ, district
champ and Ohio state runner-up in the 100 freestyle and was state runner-up
in the 200 freestyle. In addition, she was on the 3rd place 200 freestyle
relay team and 4th place 400 freestyle relay team in the state competition.
Going into her senior season, Danielle held or shared 10 individual &
team school records. She has earned many honors, including named
1st-team all city 3 times and in 2008 was named Cincinnati Female Swimmer of
the Year by the Enquirer and the local Women’s Sports Association. A
tremendous student (Academic All-American), Danielle will swim next year at
the University of North Carolina. Danielle’s favorite athlete is
Natalie Coughlin, favorite entertainer is Dave Matthews and
most-like-to-meet is Oprah.
