ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Katie Allen has played 6 years of varsity basketball at Highlands, beginning in the 7th grade, and has scored over 1,000 points in her great prep career. As a junior, Katie averaged 13.1 ppg. and 5.1 rpg. for the 25-6 district runner-up Bluebirds. Her top games included two games vs. Conner (27 points and 26 points) and vs. Scott (24 points). Katie was named NKY Div. II Player of the Year as a sophomore and junior; she was also named 1st team all region as a sophomore and junior, and twice was named to the all-district and all-region tournament teams. Katie, who started her senior season 5th on the Bluebirds’ all-time scoring list, has not yet selected a college. A good student who is active in community service, her favorite athlete and most-like to meet is Stephen Curry, her favorite entertainer is Jim Carrey, and her favorite movie is A Walk To Remember.
