ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
This senior 4-year starter, a 2009 sectional champ, district runner-up
and Ohio state quarterfinalist, has had a great career and played a big part
in the Cougars going an incredible 38-0 in regular season matches over the
past two seasons, winning two straight league titles. She was the first
tennis player in school history to qualify for the state tournament.
Andrea’s play has earned her numerous honors, including as a junior
being named 1st team all-city as well as GGCL Player of the Year and
Cincinnati Div. I Player of the Year by both the Enquirer and the Greater
Cincinnati Tennis Coaches Association. A good student active in community
service, she will play next season at Xavier University. Her favorite
athlete is Kim Clijsters, favorite entertainer is Will Ferrell, favorite
movies are Step Brothers, Titantic and Remember the Titans, favorite book is
Nineteen Minutes and most-like-to-meet is Brad Pitt.
