All-American) wide receiver last season when he notched 47 receptions for
840 yards (6 TDs). Austin moved to running back this season and immediately
started putting up impressive numbers – 229 yards rushing (2 TDs) vs.
Covington Catholic, 185 yards rushing (2 TDs) vs. Withrow and 148 yards
rushing (3 TDs) vs. Dixie Heights. Also an all-star track performer, Austin
was on last year’s 3,200 relay track team that won the Kentucky state
championship. His favorite athlete is Adrian Peterson, favorite entertainer
is Will Farrell and his most-like-to-meet is President Obama. Austin will
play at the next level, but has not yet selected a college. He is the son of
former Bengals’ wide receiver and NBC "Sunday Night
Football" analyst Cris Collinsworth.
Coach’s Quote -- “Austin is a perfect example of a high
character student/athlete. He is a tremendous athlete and an even better
