ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Senior QB is GCL’s top passer for the nationally ranked Panthers,
with big games vs. Colerain (225 yds. passing, 2 TDs) and Lakewood St.
Edward (303 yds. passing, 4 TDs). He threw for 3,349 yards (31 TDs) last
season in leading the Panthers to the Ohio Div. I runner-up finish. Mark is
a holder of many records, including Elder’s single-game passing yards
(449) and single-game passing TDs (6). In last year’s state
championship game, he set Ohio Division I title-game records in pass
attempts (51), completions (27) and yardage (401). Mark earned numerous
honors, including GCL Player of the Year, Cincinnati Div. I Player of the
Year, Southwest Ohio Player of the Year and he was named 1st team all-state
(Ohio Co-Offensive Player of the Year). An academic honor student, Mark is
president of Student Council and is active in community service.
Mark’s favorite athlete is Brett Favre and his favorite entertainer is
Will Farrell.
