ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
This senior scoring machine is one of the city’s most accomplished
soccer players who helped lead the Silver Knights last season to a 18-2-1
record and the MVC, sectional and district championships, plus a regional
runner-up finish. As a sophomore, Alex led the city in scoring with 31
goals. Then as a junior, he led the state of Ohio in scoring with a single
season school-record 44 goals. He has earned numerous honors, including 1st
team all-conference, 1st team all-city and 1st team all-SWO district. Alex
will take his skills to the collegiate level next season as a member of the
University of Notre Dame soccer team. He also ran track his freshman year
and set a school record in the 1,600 run. A great student active in
community service, Alex’s favorite athlete is Thierry Henry, favorite
entertainer is Adam Sandler, favorite book is The Hobbit, favorite movie is
The Prestige and most-like-to-meet is Pele.
