MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
A 4-year starter for the Cardinals, Katie has had some big games this
year, including scoring 24 points vs. Mt Healthy, 15 points vs. Harrison and
14 points vs. Mason. She’s following up an all-star junior year when
she averaged 13.2 points per game, as well as 4.7 assists per game (led the
GMC) and 3.5 steals per game (2nd in GMC). She could surpass 1,000 career
points this season. Katie has been the recipient of numerous honors,
including 1st team all-GMC, 1st team all-city, and 3rd team all-Southwest
Ohio district. In the summer, Katie plays AAU ball with the Kentucky Xtreme
team. Active in community service and a good student, Katie is also on the
GMC all-academic team. She has not yet selected a college. Katie’s
favorite athlete is Steve Nash, favorite entertainer is Adam Sandler,
favorite movie is Glory Road, favorite book is Tears of a Tiger and her
most-like-to-meet is Mia Hamm.
