MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Katie Kitchen is an all-around stellar athlete, having played 4 sports
for the Camels. In basketball last year, Katie led her district champion
team in points scored (17.1 ppg., 2nd in NKY) and rebounds (6.8 rpg.) while
named as a NKAC Div. I all-star. She once hit a school-record 31 foul shots
in a row over a span of 3 games. Katie also is a 4-year starter in soccer as
a midfielder and was named honorable mention all-NKY last season. She was
also an all-star softball pitcher and last season, choosing to run track,
won a Kentucky state championship on the record-setting (3:59.69) 1,600
relay team. A member of Student Council and a great student (National Honor
Society, Academic 1st team all-state), Katie is extremely active in
community service. She lists her favorite athletes as Candace Parker, Mia
Hamm, Michelle Tuchfarber and Michelle Cottrell.
