MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This 6'5" senior is one of Kentucky's
finest basketball players. Last season, Steve averaged 11.2 points, 7
rebounds, 4 assists per game for the 21-8 Rebels. Top games included 17
points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists vs. South Laurel, 17 points vs. both Corbin
and Ryle, and 14 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists vs. Newport Central
Catholic. He was named to the district all-tournament team for the second
time and was named as a NKAC Div. I all-star during his sophomore year (avg.
15.1 ppg, 7 rpg, 4 apg). During the summer, Steve played on the Kentucky 17U
AAU team that won the Kentucky state championship. A top student-athlete
with a 3.9 GPA, Steve is active in community service, and he will play next
season at Georgetown College. His favorite athlete and most-like-to-meet is
Michael Jordan; his favorite entertainer is Jessica Alba, his favorite book
is Tuck Everlasting and his favorite movie is Saw.
