MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior team
captain has an Ohio state football championship on his resume, having led
the Redskins to last year’s 13-2 record and the Ohio Div. II title,
the school’s first football state championship. For his efforts,
Daniel earned honors such as 1st team all-conference, 1st team all-city and
honorable mention SWO district. A multi-sport athlete, Daniel is also a
basketball guard and a baseball all-star-- a 3-year starter in centerfield
who hit .432 last season with 18 RBIs and 21 stolen bases. He was named 1st
team all-conference and honorable mention all-city and all-SWO district.
During the summer he plays for the Midland Redskins. Active in community
service and academics, Daniel is a member of National Honor Society, the
Anthony Munoz Leadership Team, Astronomy Club and is a recipient of the
Anderson High School Character Award. His favorite athlete and
most-like-to-meet is Brett Favre, and his favorite entertainer is Jim
Carrey.
