"Someday after graduating college, open my own local
photography shop."
MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: A 4-year starter in
volleyball, Alyx led her squad to its 4th straight district title and this
season�s 10th region championship, with more than 270 kills and 100 digs.
She has won numerous honors, including this year�s 10th region tournament
MVP and 3 times named 1st team all-Northern Kentucky and district tournament
MVP. Last season, she was also named to the regional and Kentucky state
all-tournament teams, was 2nd team all-state and 1st team academic
all-state. Also a track athlete, Alyx was regional champ (8th at state) in
the triple jump and competed at regionals and at state in the long jump,
high jump and shot put. Active in community service, Alyx�s favorite athlete
is Misty May-Treanor, favorite entertainer is Chris Rock, favorite book is
Deception Point and most-like-to-meet is Bob Marley. Alyx will continue her
fine volleyball play at the next level, on scholarship at Jacksonville State
University.
