MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Leading the
Thoroughbreds this season at quarterback is senior Rob Kues. A 2-year
varsity starter, this team captain for the �Breds led the team last year to
a 13-2 record and a runner-up finish in the Kentucky Class A state
tournament. Along the way, Rob threw for 2,365 yards (leading NKY) and ran
for 764 yards, scoring 32 TDs in the air and on the ground. His offensive
output set 7 school records. Rob earned recognition on the all-region team
and was named honorable mention all-state. An academic honor roll student,
Rob is very active in community service. He has not yet selected a college,
but plans to play at the next level. His favorite athlete is Brett Favre,
favorite entertainer is Jim Carrey, favorite movie is Ace Ventura and his
most-like-to-meet is Peyton Manning. As an interesting side note, Rob worked
last year at LaRosa�s Newport pizzeria!
