MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior has already won an incredible 11 individual, relay and team Kentucky state championships in track and cross country. In track as a sophomore, he won the state title in the 3,200 run and as a junior won both the 1,600 and 3,200 runs and was part of the winning 3,200 relay team. In cross country, Gordy won the individual Kentucky state championships both his junior and senior years, and has been part of 5 Crusaders' Class A team cross country state titles. Gordy has won numerous awards, including, in cross country, Northern Kentucky Runner of the Year and Gatorade Kentucky Cross Country Runner of the Year. He has also won Northern Kentucky's Track Athlete of the Year. An academic allstate student with a 4.0 GPA, Gordy is very active in community service, and will run next season at the University of Louisville. His favorite athlete is Lasse Viren, favorite entertainer is Dave Chappelle and most-like-to-meet is Sidney Crosby.
