MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior is the first in school history to score 1,000+ career points. Big games this season: vs. Assumption, Ky. (20 points), Hughes (19), St. Ursula (18, with 16 rebounds), and Roger Bacon (18). A 4-year starter, Maribeth averaged 17 points-8 rebounds per game last year when she was named GGCL Scarlet Player of the Year, 1st team all-city, 1st team all-SWO district and special mention all-Ohio. Her 32 points vs. Winton Woods tied a single-game school record. She was also named 1st team all-league as a sophomore. Also an academic superstar, Maribeth is a member of National Honor Society (first honors every quarter of high school) and Student Council, and is active in community service. Maribeth will play basketball next season at Bowling Green State University. Her favorite athlete is Tara Boothe, favorite entertainer is Rascal Flatts and most-like-to-meet is President George Bush. She plays for the Cincinnati Royals in the summer.
