MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior swimming All-American is the defending Kentucky state champion in the 500 freestyle (4:54.81) and also finished 4th in the 100 butterfly (56.99). She was state runner-up in the 500 freestyle her sophomore year. Claire was last year's district champ in the 500 freestyle and 100 backstroke, plus was a member of the 1st-place 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay teams. She was named 1st team all-NKY, NKY Swimmer of the Year (for the 2nd time), MVP of the NKAC championships and 1st team all-state. On a national level, Claire finished 3rd in the 500 freestyle at the U.S. Junior Nationals' competition. A 4-year varsity starter who also swims for the Northern Kentucky Clippers, Claire is also an accomplished dancer, a star student and is active in community service. She will swim next season at the University of Florida. Her favorite athlete is Whitney Myers, favorite entertainer is John Mayer and most-like-to-meet is Heath Ledger.
