MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior
helped the Bombers to the sectional, district and regional championships,
plus the Ohio state runner-up title, last season while averaging
16 points-8 rebounds a game. Big games included those against Upper
Sandusky (31 points), Withrow (28 points), Roger Bacon (25 points),
and Moeller (21 points in state finals). A 3-year varsity starter,
Walt has earned numerous honors, including 2-time all-GCL, 1st
team all-city and 2nd team all-SWO district. His AAU team, the
Cincinnati Royals/Shooting Stars, has won 9 straight AAU state
tournaments and twice Walt has been named tournament MVP. A great
student (1st honors all quarters in high school), Walt is active
in community service and will play basketball next season at U.
of Loyola-Chicago. His favorite athlete is Kobe Bryant, favorite
entertainer is Arnold Schwarzenegger and most-like-to-meet is Shaquille
O’Neal. His favorite movie is Rocky Balboa and favorite book is
Shaq Talks Back.
