MVP ACCOMPLISHMENTS: This senior quarterback
(named to the pre-season Kentucky Tremendous 26 Team) leads the powerful
Highlands Bluebirds. A 3-year varsity starter, Clay passed for 135 yards and
rushed for 65 yards (1 TD) in a win vs. Covington Catholic, and in a victory
over Holmes passed for 106 yards and rushed for 54 yards (1 TD). His junior
year, Clay notched 1,220 yards passing and 734 yards rushing, and was named
honorable mention all-Northern Kentucky. He also has played linebacker and
last season punted for a 39 yard average. In track, Clay has competed in the
100m, 200m, 400m relay, 800m relay and the high jump, and was an honorable
mention NKY all-star. A great student (Cum Laude Society, National Honor
Society), Clay plans to play football at the next level, but has not yet
chosen a college. His favorite entertainer is Will Ferrell, favorite athlete
is Troy Aikman and his most-like-to-meet is Carson Palmer.
